Rape, trafficking charges filed against Andrew Tate

BUCHAREST, Romania (AP) — Divisive social media personality Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan, have been charged with rape, human trafficking and forming a criminal gang to exploit women, prosecutors in Romania said Tuesday.Romania's anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, said prosecutors filed the charges against the brothers, who are both British-U.S. dual citizens, along with two Romanian women.In a statement, the agency said that the four defendants formed a criminal group in 2021 “in order to commit the crime of human trafficking” in Romania as well as the United States and Britain. It alleged that seven female victims were misled and transported to Romania, where they were sexually exploited and subjected to physical violence by the gang. Police investigating man’s death at North St. Paul apartment

North St. Paul police are investigating the death of a man found in an apartment Monday.Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of McKnight Road shortly after 6 p.m. on a report of a disturbance where a weapon was mentioned, according to police.Police found a man dead in an apartment. His body was taken to the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office for an autopsy and formal identification, after which his name will be released.The Ramsey County sheriff’s office and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are assisting North St. Paul police with the investigation.“There is no active public threat at this time that investigators are aware of,” police said in a statement. WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Four juveniles were arrested on Thursday, June 1, after police responded to an active larceny from a vehicle. According to the Watervliet Police Department, they recovered a loaded, illegally-possessed handgun at the scene.
